Most homes described as smart are a shelf of apps. The lights are on one, the curtains on another, the air conditioning came with its own remote, and the intercom is a separate box by the door that talks to nothing. Every one of them works. Together they are worse than switches.
We deliver and commission the whole thing on KNX as one system: lighting, curtains and shutters, HVAC, IP intercom, smart locks, CCTV, and the structured WiFi and networking underneath it. One bus, one supervision layer, one set of scenes, and a wall keypad that still works when the internet is down. For hotels the same platform runs Guest Room Management, so housekeeping status, do-not-disturb, room comfort and the energy setback on an empty room all sit in one place.
How we do it
The four things that decide the outcome
Guest Room Management
Welcome scenes, do-not-disturb and make-up-room at the door, occupancy-linked setback that stops the room cooling itself empty, and a front desk that can see service state per room in real time.
Intercom, locks and cameras
IP video intercom answered from the same panel as the lighting, smart locks with per-user access, and CCTV integrated so answering the door and unlocking it are one action rather than two systems.
Structured WiFi and networking
Surveyed coverage, cabling, switching and access points designed for the building rather than a router put wherever the fibre landed, because everything above this line depends on the layer below it.
